Our long national nightmare is finally over. Seattle* Bush League 2.0 is back. It's time for all of us to spend our autumn as our ancestors intended: shirking personal & professional responsibilities, grabbing a to-go Steak 'N Mate combo from Outback Steakhouse, and settling in for endless hours of football. Side note: If anyone has connections with the Aussies, send us a DM. We're ready for that Bloomin' brand deal.

Most of us spent the entire offseason fine-tuning our AI models and studying film to prep for week 1. Some people apparently have better things to do, like the griddy comittee…they were clearly out doing other things with their life. Maybe reading a book, spending time with loved ones & friends, or volunteering in the community. You know…loser stuff.

Week 1 tends to breed overreactions in both directions. A loss of course isn't ideal but it's a long season and there's plenty of time to recover. And Asterisky Business, let's just be honest here: you aren't going undefeated. Get in your smack talk while you can. Note that the caution about overreacting doesn't apply to The Jellyfish Collector. Tee Higgins is a disaster and you should be panicking. Not every player was fully prepared for week 1. I get it…going back into the office is tough. You can't sit on the couch doing the ol' feather-over-the-trackpad-with-a-fan-next-to-it and crush episodes of Succession all day anymore. Graham Gano put up a performance that most of us can relate to at work. Fantasy Genius supports all workers so we aren't going to give Graham Gano a hard time for simply cashing his paycheck and going home. However, My Kupp Runneth Empty is doing this for fun and frankly blew it this week starting this jabroni.
