Recap: Seattle* Bush League 2.0
2022 - Week 9
Week 9 has been completed and the playoff race is starting to clear up. Back & Forth, To Renfrow came up with a clutch win to possibly keep their playoff hopes alive. I mean, probably not...but you never know. Back & Forth, To Renfrow should probably go full fire-sale and prepare for next year. Unless you're a redraft league...in which case, maybe head over to your local Applebee's and lock in that 2 for $20 deal. Two entrees and an app for $20. My local Bee's sommelier said the Cheetos® Flamin’Hot® Boneless Wings pair well with the Berry Merry Colada. You're gonna need a bunch of Berry Merry's to try to erase the memory of this season. Editor's note: Really hope those Applebee's jokes hit because I had to create an Applebee's Curbside Account & lock in an order to see the menu. I'm gonna pay the price in more ways than one for that one. This week’s Charlie Kelly Wildcard award for being the most unpredictable team in the league goes to Sack Lunch. They have been all over the map this season, dropping an impressive 175.74 points in week 8. You might think they would be dominating the league based on that performance alone. But they also dropped an absolute gunther in week 7, laying down just 76.17 points. Congrats to Sack Lunch on being the most likely to cut the brakes on the ride to the playoffs. This team is either going to win the championship or the sacko. No in between.

This week’s slugfest was between The Fugees and Fully Retired, who scored a combined 238.72 points, with The Fugees pulling out an impressive W. In the nailbiter of the week, Back & Forth, To Renfrow just edged out WWJBD in a game that left us all on the edge of our seats. Brutal L for WWJBD this week.

STATS FOR GEEKS
Here are some charts & analytics for the sore winners and losers among us. And nerds.
Team Butt continues to dominate the league power rankings -- these guys are almost as good as a Quesadilla Burger washed down with a half-price domestic draft from your local Applebee's between 3pm-6pm on any given weekday. Going to skip making fun of Back & Forth, To Renfrow because honestly...who even cares? It's just sad at this point. Does WWJBD think they have a legitimate shot this year? Just make sure they've paid the league buy-in. They ain't sniffing the trophy.
